Matthew Schellenberg, DO

Dr. Matthew Schellenberg has been with South Jordan Family Practice since it opened in 2008. He attended medical school at Midwestern University in Arizona and completed his family practice residency at our clinic's affiliate MountainStar hospital - St. Mark's in Salt Lake City.

“I believe the most important aspects of providing quality care are listening to the needs of my patients and involving the patient in the treatment plan. I like to take the time to educate patients and present treatment options.”

Dr. Schellenberg and his wife have two children together and are very happy to be back in Utah as they were born and raised here!

David D. Poor, MD

David D. Poor, MD is a board certified Family Practitioner with special interests in pediatrics and urgent care. He is a graduate of the Loma Linda University School of Medicine in California, and completed a Family Practice Residency program here in Salt Lake at St. Mark’s Hospital.

Dr. Poor has worked in Urgent Care Clinics as well as his own private practice in Herriman before joining South Jordan Family Medicine.

Dr. Poor is affiliated with St. Mark’s Hospital. When he’s not busy seeing patients, Dr. Poor loves skiing, playing his saxophone and spending time with his family.

Theresa D. Gourde, MD

Theresa D. Gourde, MD is a board certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine. She graduated from the University of California-Irvine Medical School and did her Internal Medicine Residency at Virginia Mason Hospital in Seattle. She has been practicing in the Salt Lake area for over 10 years. She takes care of adults over the age of 18 and is interested in women's health, cholesterol management, diabetes, and hypertension. Dr. Gourde is affiliated with St. Mark's Hospital.
